Here is a delicious, detoxifying, and immune-boosting salad + dressing recipe to keep in your back pocket. It's nutrient-packed, easy on the digestion, and will help purify your system. I cut the broccoli in half when I made it and really liked it! The healing ingredients make this salad high- vibrational.

Cleansing Kale Salad Recipe

Ingredients

For the dressing:

  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw honey
  • A pinch of cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt

For the salad:

  • 2 cups mixed greens; finely sliced kale, butter lettuce, arugala, and/or sprouts of your choice
  • 1 cup paper thinly sliced red cabbage 
  • 1 cup broccoli chopped into small florets
  • 2 carrots (shredded)
  • 1 bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 avocados (diced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Preparation

1) Add all dressing ingredients to a large salad dressing shaker or blender and process until well blended. Notes: I double the above amounts and refrigerate what I dont use for later. here is the salad shaker, it's one of my favorite things in my kitchen!

2) Prepare all the veggies and herbs, per the instructions above.

3) Put everything into a salad bowl and toss it together.

4) Sprinkle with chia seeds and enjoy!
